Annual Suicide Remembrance Day 1 May 2025

Our 2024 gathering was a truly special occasion, where individuals, families, and communities came together to honour the lives of those we’ve lost to suicide. It was a night filled with heartfelt stories, cherished memories, and moments of comfort. Together, we created a safe and compassionate space to grieve, remember, and find hope.

In 2025, we aim to build on this beautiful tradition. The evening will offer:

• A chance to share or simply listen: Speak about your loved one or honour them quietly in a supportive and understanding environment.
• Music and heartfelt performances: Be inspired by songs, dance and tributes that celebrate love, friendship, and resilience.
• A meaningful tribute: Participate in activities that unite us in remembrance and hope.
• Community support: Connect with others who truly understand the importance of breaking the silence and ending the stigma, silence and shame associated with suicide.

As the night unfolds, we’ll once again light up the evening in SOS’s signature colours of purple and white, a powerful symbol of unity and remembrance. Together, we’ll continue to foster open conversations and inspire a future where no one feels alone in their grief or struggles.

Ticket information: This year general admission is £5.00; the cost of the ticket contributes towards the booking fees and basic administrative cost.
