Salford, MMU and Manchester University students are invited to join SOS and DASS (Disability Advisory & Support Service) and the Student Union welfare office in a discussion around mental health and suicide. There will also be a panel debate during the course of the evening.
Here’s what The University of Manchester say of our upcoming event:
“At a time of a global pandemic and international lockdown and the consequential decline in human contact, there has been an exponential rise in mental health difficulties. During this event, and in association with the mental health charity, ‘SOS Silence of Suicide’, we hope to open up the debate about suicide and de-stigmatise the silence that surrounds this.”
