SOS - Created in Warwickshire, supporting nationally
As SOS continues to work to eradicate stigma, shame & silence around suicide & mental health, the Covid-19 epidemic has resulted in a huge demand for communication via phone calls, but we need the relevant resources. Everyone has different preferences and we are doing our best to provide a range of services that everyone can benefit from.
Calling SOS is a plea for donations to ensure our phone support service is sustainable for our vulnerable users, many of whom will only talk on the phone as this is how they feel safest and most secure. This is a critical, in high demand service, that we have recently launched for both existing, and new, service users. But we need help to run and manage this service, and support our volunteers, so please, if you can contribute, you will be helping us to continue helping others.
