Kim Slater
Kim Slater
Kim has worked in Warwickshire’s voluntary and community sector for 25 years. Initially, he managed a VCS-based training and employability programme for young people. He then moved to lead Warwickshire Rural Community Council and has developed a range of services to support vulnerable people. These include a meals-on-wheels service, Warm Hubs, community transport and a large domestic oil-buying syndicate. Kim is particularly motivated by the scarcity of appropriate and affordable housing and the issues experienced by people with mental health problems.
The Board and employees of SOS are delighted to have Kim on board
