World Mental Health Day 10 October 2019
It’s World Mental Health Day on Thursday 10 October and we encourage everyone to make that extra special effort to take it easy on themselves, on others and engage in what can be difficult conversations about mental health.
In Warwickshire, there are numerous projects taking place and several services the public may not know about, so please read the list below and visit the Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action Group’s website by clicking HERE
You will be taken straight to the Projects Page, where details of services such as Rugby’s transport service, a scheme that provides transport to those living in Rugby Borough and surrounding areas. We support Journeys to health and social care related appointments at hospitals, day services, dentists,clinics – please read the full list online.
Another scheme aimed at young people is called Ambition Coventry. If you are aged between 16-29 and are currently not in employment, training or education contact the WCAVA Ambition Coventry team to see how we can support you!

Health partners of Warwickshre County Council are offering ‘ promotional activities to raise awareness of local mental health services and resources.’ . The theme this year is suicide prevention and is organised by the World Federation for Mental Health.
