Remembering Loved Ones: SOS Silence of Suicide’s Second Annual Remembrance Day Evening Event
Remembering Loved Ones: SOS Silence of Suicide’s Second Annual Remembrance Day Evening Event
Every year, we come together to remember those we’ve lost to suicide and to support those still grieving. This event is all about reflection, connection, and healing, and we’d love for you to be part of it. We are excited to announce our Second Annual Remembrance Day Evening Event for SOS Silence of Suicide, and we invite you to join us.
Why This Event Matters
Losing someone to suicide is an indescribable pain that no one should face alone. Our Remembrance Day Evening provides a space for people affected by suicide to unite, share their stories, and find solace with others who understand the journey. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to talk, to grieve, and to heal at your own pace.
This evening is more than just an event; it’s an opportunity to challenge the stigma, silence and shame around mental health & suicide, support one another, and pause to reflect on the memories of those we’ve lost. It’s a chance to show that their lives mattered, that they are never forgotten, and that we continue to work towards a world where no one suffers in silence.
What to Expect
The evening will feature heartfelt tributes, inspiring talks, and personal stories from those touched by suicide. There will also be the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one, contribute to a memory wall, and connect with others who truly understand.
In a beautiful addition to the evening, the Crystal Gospel Choir will be performing live, filling the venue with uplifting and soulful music that will provide comfort, reflection, and hope. Their powerful voices will be a perfect complement to the reflective atmosphere of the event.
This is a space for healing, sharing, and ensuring that conversations about suicide and mental health continue. We believe in the power of community, and together, we can provide the support that so many people need.
