Thank you for considering supporting our charity’s work. Your generosity and kindness will help us to continue helping others, and ensure that we can continue to raise awareness and provide support to those who are struggling. There are a number of ways that you can help us to achieve our core objectives of reducing the shame, stigma and silence which can prevent potentially life saving or life changing conversations, whether it’s through a donation, making us your charity of the year, partnering with us, or philanthropic giving and support.
Your help means we can continue to grow. To help save more lives. Every penny that we receive goes directly into continuing and expanding our services..
SOS led the way with innovative support services in 2024. We launched the first ever mobile wellbeing hubs in England, which are currently supporting Warwick District Council’s amazing street wardens, who support vulnerable people of all ages during the night time hours. This gives businesses, organisations and individuals the option of support coming directly to them, on a one on one or groups of 6 talking and listening services.
We also hosted the first ever annual remembrance day for those bereaved by suicide at Warwick Castle, which was a beautiful and touching evening, with the castle lit up in purple, the SOS colours. Tickets for our 2nd year service are on sale now – please go to our Events page to read more.
SOS has created its own range of training courses on suicide prevention and awareness, burnout, menopause and chronic pain – both in person delivery and e-learns are available, with certificates at the end for your staff, or even yourself! All face to face courses are accredited.
If none of those appeal, then check out our Training Tab to learn about our body and vocal training – it’s a must have for anyone dealing face to face with those in crisis.
Our freephone is growing at a fast pace and we need your help to help us expand this service, recruiting more paid people to join our family and commit to helping those in need.
Last, but not least, where SOS started almost 10 years ago – our group meetings continue in our local community, with a strong possibility of a group meeting being set up in London by the summer in 2025.
Thank you for helping us to help others.
