To mark World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) and 10 Years of Healing at SOS Silence of Suicide, we’re launching a vibrant nationwide digital awareness and fundraising campaign: Purple-ise to Prevent – from 7th-13th September.
This multi-faceted initiative invites workplaces, schools, communities and individuals to:
Wear it. Share it. Fund it.
Because every life counts.
Besides being the SOS brand colour, purple is the symbol of compassion, hope and mental health awareness. It makes the invisible visible and unites communities to speak openly about suicide and support those in crisis.
From lilac to lavender, amethyst to plum, each shade of purple holds a meaning—just like every individual does—and together, they all belong. By embracing the full spectrum of purple, we’re showing that every voice, every story and every emotion has a place in this movement.
Getting Purple-ised is simple.
